A blend of 80% Corvina and 10% Rondinella with dollops of Oseleta and Croatina. Grown in the oldest vineyards in the Costalunga estate in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, the fruit for this wine was dried for 3-4 months in small trays before pressing took place in January 2013. The juice then rested on the skins for 15-20 days before the vinification, after which the wine aged for 48 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Expect a rich, complex wine just approaching its peak maturity.
