Château Guiraud

TASTING NOTE : Tasted single blind against its peers . Having been parsimonious with my score last year due to some sulphur issues , I can report that Guiraud has turned good -- very good . It has a very fine bouquet with scents of lemon curd , pineapple and quince that gains momentum in the glass . The palate is supremely well - balanced with crisp acidity . There are a myriad of flavors in this Sauternes with dried honey , quince , Seville orange marmalade and a touch of ginger . There is also great persistency towards the finish .
