TASTING NOTE: Three Finger Jack was, so the story goes, a notorious desperado who roamed the Sierras east of Sacramento in the fading days of the Old West. Nobody knows where he came from, how he lost two fingers, or where he died, but his legend still lives on today in Lodi. This wine is opulently rich, velvety and smoky, with notions of grilled plum, dark cherry, blueberry pie and dark-chocolate s'mores. Drink through 2022 with ribs in a thick, smoky sauce.
