Tasting Notes
A good quality wine that is well extracted and not overly pushed. It falls below the excellent 2016, but this is a lovely rich and alive Pauillac that has fresh, flexible tannins and lots to enjoy. It's not overly exuberant at this stage but it's clearly full of potential. 50% new oak. Drinking window: 2025-2038. Score - 93. (Jane Anson, decanter.com, Nov. 13, 2018)
