About this product
Elevated to Côtes du Rhône-Villages status in 1974, the vineyards of St.-Gervais are situated on sandy and often chalky soils, with red clay featuring on the sites found on the slopes and stonier, gravelly soil on the plateaux. The red wines here are mostly Grenache, with Syrah and Mourvèdre providing the primary support in the blends. Expect a robust, ripe and fruity wine with lovely mouthfeel. This wine won a Gold Medal in 2014 at Vinalies Internationales.
