There's nothing underhanded going on here - this unique wine takes Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and, following the ripasso method perfected in Italy's Veneto region, uses dried grapes to add richness and depth. It reveals aromas and flavours of fresh and dried berries, spice and leather. An impressive wine that will prove an able collaborator on a dinner table featuring grilled red meats.

Tasting Notes
Full-bodied and smooth with dark fruit and a meaty, savoury mid-palate note. Nicely balanced. The winery concentrates the flavour of the cabernet sauvignon grapes by using the ripasso method traditionally used in Veneto, Italy: dried grapes add richness and depth to the wine. Mocha, dark chocolate and toasty oak on the finish. Try it tonight. Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: smoked meats, braised beef brisket, meaty pasta, mushroom risotto with Parmigiano.
