TASTING NOTE: Vivid purple. Wild, explosive aromas of black raspberry, cola, minerals and candied flowers. Supple, focused and sappy, with brisk minerality lifting the lush dark berry, kirsch and lavender pastille flavors. This dense, penetrating, strikingly pure wine offers terrific clarity and finishing energy. According to Marc Perrin, these vines were planted in the 1870s and 1880s and survived phylloxera.
