Tasting Notes
'I'm very lazy,' jokes Koen Roose, 'I just bottle what the terroir gives me.' This is a bigger, bolder Chenin than his Sarah Raal bottling, sourced from clay and shale soils. Thicker skins, 20% new oak and greater concentration make this rich, leesy, structured wine stand out. Elgin's best expression of the grape. 2020-28.
