Saint George is the Anglicized name for the Greek grape Agiorgitiko, aka Aghiorghitiko. This one features aromas of black fruits, sweet oak, cranberry and milk chocolate. Dry with good balance between the fruit and moderate tannins. Medium-full bodied with a fairly substantial finish. Enjoy it tonight with lamb souvlaki or pork gyros.
