Tasting Notes
Nose: a lovely hickory-liquorice mix with spices in healthy mode; Taste: a creamy and peppery start, the corn oils high on the early flavor profile. The toffees and vanillas take their time to make a mark but get there at their own pace; Finish: more complex now as the tannins and vanillas appear more harmonized and the sugars now deliciously integrated; Balance: typical of a single cask, offering some of what you expect from a distillery though not necessarily all.
