Tasting Notes
The 2018 Scharzhofberger Riesling Sp�tlese is still quite sulfitic on the nose but clear, bright and refined, with fragrant floral and flint stone aromas. Sweet but filigreed and lush on the palate, this is a salty-piquant and well-structured Sp�tlese with stimulating grip and mineral tension. I'd keep this wine for 15 to 20 years, though, before I start serving it. 8.5% alcohol. Tasted from AP 21 19 in June 2019. Drink date: 2040-2080. Score - 94.
