About this product
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano was called 'the perfect wine' in 1549, the 'king of wines' in 1685, and had 'noble' incorporated into its name in the late 18th century. This one is made from 90% Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) with 10% Canaiolo, spent 24 months in oak casks and offers smoky notions of violets and red cherry that will be familiar to fans of Brunello and Chianti. Pour it with osso buco, or sautéed chicken in a marinara sauce.
