To eliminate the use of chemical herbicides and fertilizers and improve the microbial health of their soils, this third-generation family-owned operation uses mulch made from straw, which is laid down in their vineyards alternating with rows planted with grass. This Bourgogne-level Pinot is fresh and pure, with bright red fruit and earth tones, and will drink well for another 2+ years.
