Tasting Notes
This wine comes from grapes planted at 85-130 metres elevation on the north-facing slopes of Helderberg Mountain. The Helderberg and Stellenbosch mountains block the cold Atlantic winds, creating a warmer mesoclimate with ideal conditions for the production of robust, structured Cabs like this one. Look for dark fruit, cassis and herbs, with a touch of allspice, and pair with beef ribs or steak.
