Tasting Notes
'Collio' means 'hillsides' and aptly describes the sloping clay-and-limestone vineyards nestled in alpine foothills in northern Italy, whence comes this Cabernet. The wine spends a year in small oak casks and another six months in bottle before release, making for a balanced, lightly toasty glassful of juicy blackcurrant tinged with subtle evergreen notes. Savour through 2028.
