Tasting Notes
There is a definite plan to make their two Montagny 1ers crus to suit different dishes: Les Co�res is aimed at asparagus or shellfish. Vinification is 70% in tank with low temperatures, 30% in 300l barrel. Pale yellow colour. There is that characteristic slightly marine touch. Good tension behind, a little warmth but that has been controlled, and a light citrus touch. Score - 89. (Jasper Morris, MW, insideburgundy.com, March 2021)
