Tasting Notes
The 2015 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva Mo blossoms slowly with a dusty and deeply alluring display of crushed dried violets and sweet spices, giving way to notes of ripe plum and hints of fresh mint. This deepens further with a beguiling whiff of animal musk. It's silky-smooth and elegant, showcasing a polished set of red and black fruits supported by vibrant acids. The Riserva Mo finishes with hints of plum, framed well by fine tannins. There's no reason to wait here, as the 2015 is already very easy to like. Drinking window: 2021-2026. Score - 90.
