Aromas of rose petals, dark chocolate and loamy soil marry with rich, plummy fruit, introducing the 2018 Savigny-l�s-Beaune Les Fourneaux, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and gourmand wine built around powdery tannins and succulent acids. This confirms its fine showing in barrel, and the ripeness of the vintage means that it's quite approachable out of the gates. Drink date: 2020-2040. Score - 91.
