Tasting Notes
Passed from one historic Douro family to another, this quinta is now in the hands of Joaquim Calem. Old vines from a field-blend vineyard have gone into this dense and solid wine. Blackberry and damson fruit flavors contrast with the dark tannic core and the wood-aging flavors. This is a fine wine that will need further aging. Drink from 2021. Cellar Selection. Score - 94.
