Tasting Notes
Ex-bourbon barrels are used in the ageing process for this wine, which imparts notes of rich spice and smokey flavours. Pours a deep ruby, with aromas of dark berry fruit, mocha, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is smooth, with notes of torched cherry and savoury roasted red pepper. Pair with dry rub-spiced ribs.
