The DAC is the Austrian appellation system that is now beginning to be seen on labels . Kremstal , given its DAC in 2007 , is only the fourth region to adopt the system . DAC regulations determine what varieties may be grown and what style of wines produced . Riesling and Grüner Veltliner are the only allowable varieties in DAC Kremstal .
