Tasting Notes
With the right viticulture, it's perfectly possible to make good Bordeaux red blends on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot-dominated, with lesser amounts of Cabernet Franc and Malbec, this is a textured, aromatic, refined style, with notes of cassis, red cherry and dried herbs and fine 20% new wood.
