Tasting Notes
This single-vineyard, Wairau Valley wine is consistently impressive. The 2009 vintage has an array of fresh, pure fruit flavours - passionfruit, melon, capsicum and lime. It's a very youthful, slightly minerally wine with good intensity and a lingering, finely balanced finish. Score - 4 1/2 Stars (out of 5). (Michael Cooper's Buyer's Guide to New Zealand Wines, 2010)
