About this product
Côtes du Forez is a Gamay - only Loire appellation that received its AC in 2000 . It is technically part of the Loire , but it is located closer to Burgundy . Its granite / volcanic soil makes it ideal for Gamay grapes . Gilles Bonnefoy is considered one of the region ' s finest producers . Look for black cherry and light spice aromas and flavours . A fine red sipper , or enjoy with simple pasta dishes .
