About this product
This wine is hand-harvested at nighttime (hence the name) and theoretically in October, although in early-ripening vintages such as 2015, in practice it's harvested in late September and early October nights. Just over half of the fruit is Chardonnay grape clone 809, also known as Chardonnay Musqué, which adds pretty floral notes to the wine's wet stone, ripe apple and sweet oak characteristics. The producer suggests pairings of roasted chicken with sweet herbs, cedar-planked salmon or almond-crusted halibut.
