Tasting Notes
Produced with the winter-hardy, disease- and pest-resistant marquette grape, this wine was fashioned with a Tasmanian yeast stain and 10% of the wine was aged in American oak, the remainder in stainless steel. The nose offers dark cherry, blackberry jam and raspberry aromas adorned with dark chocolate, tea leaves, piquant spice and earth. Dry, medium bodied and silky smooth, enlivened with balancing acidity, there's an abundance of red and dark fruit flavours on the palate joined by hints of earth and spice which extend through the leisurely finish.
