Tasting Notes
Plumper and a little plusher than the 2018 release, although everything is relative in the cool climate region of Traigu�n, this is the best Pinot Noir yet from Pancho Baettig. Made with three clones - 777, 828 and a Gevrey-Chambertin selection - this is particularly impressive for a wine from a vineyard that's only eight years' old. Spicy, dense and compact, with 15% whole bunches, stylish oak, plum and black cherry fruit and some volcanic grip. Drink date: 2022-2028. Score - 96. (timatkin.com, Chile Special Report 2021)
