This top - notch Cab Franc won a Silver Medal at the 2010 InterVin International Wine Awards . The fruit was sourced from Pearl Family Vineyards located in the Creek Shores , and Seeger Vineyard in the Niagara River . Both vineyards were harvested quite late in the season , in early November , as fine autumn weather blessed Niagara . Look for enticing notes of raspberry , spice and tobacco in this deeply coloured wine . Will make a fine partner for herbed steaks or barbecued leg of lamb .
