Tasting Notes
Here is a beautiful, classic wine that represents a crowning achievement for Lazio. The Falesco Famiglia Cotarella 2016 Syrah Ogr� will appeal to Syrah enthusiasts from around the world. This is a cool and classic vintage that precedes the warm 2017 growing season and the cooler 2018 vintage. The wine is rich and thickly layered with a bounty of dark cherry, blackberry, spice and tobacco. Those well-presented aromatic highlights are followed by a rich and creamy texture that comes straight out of the Syrah playlist. I love this wine. Drink date: 2021-2032. Score - 96+.
