Tasting Notes
A wonderfully spicy nose also features plenty of floral influence to the liqueur-like aromas of dark raspberry and kirsch. Like the Mar�chaudes, this is a wine of textural contrasts as the super-fine mid-palate of the big-bodied flavors contrasts with the sleekly muscular flavors where the intensity really builds to the youthfully austere, superbly long and already highly complex finale. This is compact and backwards but a wine that is also exceptionally promising, provided of course that you have the patience to wait for it to fully blossom. Sweet spot. Drink: 2031+. Score - 94.
