TASTING NOTE : ' Tradition ,' a term coined by the Bordeaux oenologist Émile Peynaud , refers to the adherence to older tried - and - tested winemaking methods despite the influence of science , and holds particular sway in regions such as Jura . Blending Chardonnay with the rare Savagnin variety , this elegant white offers up an almost Sherry - like nose with binned apple , orange peel and almonds .
