Description
The wines of the B�tard-Montrachet Grand Cru tend to be richer and more perfumed than those of its neighbours, Montrachet and Bienvenue-Batard-Montrachet. This is due to the vineyard's positioning lower on the slope of the Mont-Ratchet hill, where the soils are somewhat deeper and more fertile. However, this is a very relative comparison, as the soils of B�tard-Montrachet are by no means generous, and the roots must work hard in this stony, steep site. This wine will be complex, fruity and mineral driven.
