Tasting Notes
Toasted hazelnut, chalk plus the merest hint of summer blossom and creaminess combine into a subdued but utterly attractive nose on this wine. The palate has the same sonorous and gentle texture, rich, layered and giving a real sense of chalkiness. All is pervaded by lemon freshness. The ripeness of 2018 is beautifully managed here, manifesting itself in an elegant, smooth and cooling wine. Drink date: 2025-2045. Cellar Selection. Score - 97.
