About this product
The house of A . Edmond Audry was founded in 1878 . In the early 1950s , the then - patriach , Aristide Boisson , passed away , and so it was decided to shutter the operation . In 1978 , under Bernard Boisson , it finally reopened . Today , Audry is referred to as ' the best Cognac you have never heard of ' ( Time Magazine ). Their Réserve Spéciale is made with a blend of fine Cognacs ranging in age from 15 - 30 years . The result is a refined and elegant spirit with aromas and flavours of caramel and black tea . A wonderful after - dinner digestif .
