TASTING NOTE : The 2007 Calchetas is a blend of 50 % Merlot with the balance Cabernet Sauvignon , Malbec , and Syrah . Saturated purple in color , it displays a superb bouquet of wood smoke , pencil lead , mineral , incense , blueberry , and blackberry . On the palate the wine is lifted by acidity and has the structure and balance for 6 - 8 years of evolution . Drink this impeccably made wine from 2017 to 2032 .
