Rkatsiteli is one of the oldest grapes used for wine production . Seeds for the variety were found in wine vessels dating from 3000 BC . Today it is the most planted variety in Georgia . The modern wines are remarkably balanced , crisp and fruity . Look for aromas of spring flowers , oranges and spice cupboard . A great match for mildly spicy chicken and pork dishes .
