Tasting Notes
First produced in 1965, this is Viticcio's most historic wine. It's made from 98% Sangiovese with a splash of Merlot and matured 12 months in French oak barriques and an additional 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels. Expect an elegant, polished Chianti Classico with suggestions of cherry and violets, and pour with marinara pasta or wood-fired pizza.
