TASTING NOTE : The 2006 Samsara Syrah is a little ' funky ' at first , but calms down with aeration to reveal a mellow , blackberry and cassis - scented bouquet that is just a little warm and alcoholic . The palate is full - bodied and luscious , with succulent dark berries , cherry liqueur and a touch of Provencal herbs . The finish is rounded and seductive . Drink : 2011 - 2017 .
