Description
This classically styled Primitivo (known in Cali as Zinfandel) was grown in Manduria, a spot considered ideal for the variety. Look for raspberry, blackberry and tarry notes in an unapologetically big and bountiful wine, and enjoy it with braised meats or portobello mushroom dishes.

Tasting Notes
Cohesive aromas of tilled earth, tobacco and peppery spice are well-integrated into a rich cherry jam core on the nose. This is full, rounded and juicy in feel, showing luscious fruit jam flavors that don't falter or lose definition, thanks to lifted acidity and a firm framing of polished tannins.
