Tasting Notes
Ther 2016 Mollydooker 'Blue Eyed Boy' Shiraz is another huge success from Mollydooker. This dark, opaque colored wine opens with a rich bouquet of black olive tapenade, cr�me de cassis and milk chocolate. The overall balance of ripe fruit and acidity here is really nice, as the wine reveals dense flavors of black cherry syrup, Turkish coffee and boysenberry liquor. This plush wine is absolutely irresistible at this juncture but will also cellar marvelously over the next decade. Best 2017-2027. Score - 94.
