TASTING NOTE: Smells gamey, meaty, just like biltong. Bright glints of orange zest through the darkly meaty palate. Solid tannins, with a bit of charming roughness, like the five o'clock shadow on a man's chin. On the finish, cracked coriander, with its citric-peppery bite. Tasting Notes
A long-time leader in organic viticulture and winemaking, Paxton has been family-owned since its founding in 1979. This wine was grown in multiple estate vineyards (thus 'MV' in the name is multi-vocational, standing for both 'multiple vineyards' and 'McLaren Vale'). It'll show ripe, peppery dark fruit and pair nicely with grilled steaks or burgers.
