Tasting Notes
M�nchhof is one of the oldest wine estates in the Mosel, and many of its prime vineyard sites are planted on original rootstock, some nearly 100 years old. M�nchhof's 2014 Riesling offers up a pleasing mix of spice, stone fruit and orchard fruit on the nose. The palate has some sweetness, and fresh, racy acidity keeps everything finely balanced. Nicely layered, complex citrus, apple, peach, pear and mineral notes continue through the long finish. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2015)
