Joseph Phelps was one of the pioneers in Napa Valley in the early 1970s; an iconic figure whom Robert Parker called 'a leader, and one of the greats of the wine world.' The 2013 Innisfree was matured for 16 months in a combination of French and American oak and includes splashes of Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cab Franc adding complexity. Expect an impressively balanced and structured wine showing ripe fig, cherry, plum, tobacco and baking spices.
