Tasting Notes
The Casetta family has been making wines in Vezza d'Alba since 1725. This 2008 Barbaresco is showing some mature tertiary notes, but it will continue to evolve yet and will be worth following for another 3+ years. Complex and layered with firm but softening tannins. Some delicate rose petal floral tones with cherry, mulberry, tar, anise, sandalwood and spice. (Vintages panel, June 2017)
