About this product
This winery's name honours the Monaldeschi della Cervara family, who was the historical owner of Castello della Sala in the 16th century. The wine itself, made by the iconic Marchesi Antinori and first produced in 1985, blends Chardonnay with the indigenous Grechetto grape and is one of the first Italian white wines to have malolactic fermentation and maturation take place in oak barriques. Look for an elegantly robust wine showing crunchy orchard fruit.
