Tasting Notes
The 2011 Syrah Maroccoli is a very interesting interpretation of both grape and territory. The Syrah component comes through loud and clear with soft fruit layers, dark cherry, spice, cured meat and smoked bacon. You also taste Sicily thanks to Mediterranean herb, toasted pistachio and green caper. The tannins are soft[l]y textured and plump.
