About this product
Aged 8 years. This whisky has spent 2 years maturing in fresh sherry casks that were used to make Harvey's Bristol Cream. CC Sherry Cask is made in batches, each with its own slight eccentricities. They start out as exactly twenty-seven Jerez sherry butts filled with fully matured, six-year-old CC whisky. This is more than a simple finish, it's a second maturation, during which the whisky assimilates some of the rich , fruity, palomino flavours from the barrel.
