The Studert-Pr�m family have been making wines in Wehlen for 12 generations and are a staple of the Mosel. This elegant, sophisticated Riesling comes from the steep, rocky blue slate of the Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard. Roughly 80% of the vines are planted on original rootstock, and the wine is produced using natural yeasts. This exceptionally age-worthy wine will provide a classic refinement and vibrancy with superb fruit and mineral intonations.

Tasting Notes
The 2017 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Sp�tlese is intense and floral on the generous, slatey, honey-scented nose with its spicy, flinty and slightly untamed expressions. Lush and round, with raisiny fruit and discreet piquancy, this is a lush and obviously botrytized Sp�tlese with grip and tension. Drink date: 2024-2040. Score - 90.
