Stephen the Great so loved the wines of Cotnari that he is reported to have built roads in the 15th century for the express purpose of gaining greater access to them . That may be more legend than fact , but Tãmâioasã Româneascã ( aka Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains ) is certainly one of the oldest wine grapes in the world , making these wines historic in their own right . This will be floral , with citrus and peach and a crisp acidity . A great companion for sweet desserts .
