Monte Sant'Urbano is a place of exceptional beauty where the vines, olive trees and cherry trees seem to have found their natural position among the winding curves in the hills of the Fumane municipality. The estate covers 19 hectares between 280 and 350 metres above sea level, and the soil is volcanic in origin and a mixture of chalk and clay. Fruit for this Amarone is sourced from the Monte Sant'Urbano vineyard and dried for 3-4 months before fermentation begins. The resulting wine is matured 24 months in oak casks and 12 months in oak barrels. With more than 23 years of maturation in oak and bottle, it's ready to be savoured.
